Camera is BROKEN!!

While taking pics of Jaelyn yesterday, I dropped my camera and broke the lens! I then left my camera in Travis's car where the memory chip is:( So unless I buy a new camera it'll be a while before new pics-totally bummed..........

Mom Visits Chi-city!

Friday my mom came to visit me here in CHicago. It was GREAT!! Friday we went downtown and walked around-it was beautiful out!! We got some apps and wine at Bin-36. Then we went to Howl at the moon where my friend Michelle met us for some beers. We sat outside and were in bed by midnight. Saturday we went to Navy Pier and walked around. Well that was on our adventure on the bus-since the blue line train was under construction so we had to get on a bus. Anyway we decided to go on an architectual boat tour. It takes you through the city on the river and the tour guide was very informative. I loved it and so did mom!
Then we walked the mag. mile and ended up at the Hancock building where we got some yummy appetizers at The CHeesecake Factory. We decided we didn't want to wait in line to go to the top of the Hancock building-next time...
Then we came back to my place got ready and had this great idea to go to the casino about 20 mins. from me. We LOST!! Oh well it was fun anyway.
Then Sunday we went to the Lincoln park conservatory and zoo. These are free and awesome things to do on a nice day. Then we had lunch at a cool outdoor place. But then it was time for mom to go home and I was sad:( It goes by so fast. And I had to start work for school:(( double bummer.
But it was an excellent weekend and I'm so glad my mom came-I love you so much mom!! Thanks for everything you do and are:) I'm so lucky.....(even if I wasn't at the casino, haha)

4th of July Fun

Had a great time on the 4th at the parents place. Great friends and family=tons of fun:) Jaelyn just loved the water and I loved playing in the water with her.

Long overdue-pics of my newest niece Riley. She was born almost 3 weeks ago now and she is as cute as a button! Of course I had to add Jaelyn at the end cause she's just as cute as a button too:)

Travis visits Chicago

Late posting-sorry I've been super busy!! Anyhow Travis came to visit two weekends ago here in Chicago and we had a beautiful weekend. The weather was wonderful and so was the company:)
